MDR’s School Spending Update 2015-2016

We recently released our annual School Spending Update for the 2015-2016 school year. Below you will find a summary of the findings.

MDR’s proprietary school expenditure research shows U.S. K-12 public schools increased instructional spending by 3% in the 2015-2016 school year to $12.8 billion. The national average for All Instructional Materials (AIM) spending was $263 per pupil in the 2015-2016 school year. This marks the third consecutive year of healthy increases in school instructional spending.
