The EdScoops for September 14

It’s a super exciting week, here at MDR…EdNET kicks off in San Francisco today!  The EdNET team has been crazy busy preparing for the first of three EdNET events taking place nationwide.  Although I’m hanging back this year, I know for a fact it will be an amazing time with all the great programming and sessions planned.  The conference is jam-packed with industry experts to share their knowledge and provide useful takeaways.  I’ll share some highlights from these sold out conferences in my next scoops!

Westchester K-12 Unit Managing Director Kevin J. Gray nominated a 2018 Star Watch Top Honoree by Publishers Weekly

The K-12 division is one of the newer units to launch in Westchester’s 50 year history of serving publishers, and has experienced a strong start due to their team’s well-earned reputation of providing excellent content development, editorial, and production services for many US and UK educational publishers. In recognition of the impressive achievements to date of the K-12 business segment, they are pleased to share that K-12 Managing Director Kevin J. Gray has been nominated a 2018 Star Watch Top Honoree by Publishers Weekly. The awards show takes place on September 12th, where Kevin and a number of other deserving nominees will be honored for their contributions to the publishing industry.

MeTEOR Education Names Industry Veteran Cindy Eggebrecht as Senior Vice President of Marketing

MeTEOR Education™ has announced the appointment of Cindy Eggebrecht to Senior Vice President of Marketing. Eggebrecht is a K-12 Industry veteran, leading sales and marketing initiatives for more than 20 years. Boston Business Journal Names Curriculum Associates a 2018 Top Charitable Contributor for the Third Consecutive Year
