WeAreTeachers social media engagement also exploded in 2019 with its channels growing by 26 percent, gaining more than 600,000 new followers across Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.
WeAreTeachers Facebook page garnered 1.5 billion impressions and more than 95 million engagements and Pinterest had 27 million engagements driving more than 3.8 million clicks to its compelling content for educators.
Companies, nonprofits and other organizations, ranging from trusted consumer product and health care brands to education technology and curriculum companies, partner with MDR to develop WeAreTeachers campaigns to engage the education market. Initiatives from well-known brands featured on WeAreTeachers have focused on important topics ranging from the environment and recycling to social emotional learning for teens and elementary math.
